The stylishly appointed Ameritania Hotel features brightly-colored modern guestrooms with black-and-white marble bathrooms; decor is part modern art, part minimalist and all "hip". The Broadway and 54th Street location is convenient to the New York Theater district, Times Square, Rockefeller Center and Central Park. The Twist Lounge, adjacent to the Ameritania Hotel lobby, invites relaxation after a long day and opens daily beginning at 5:00PM.

Getting a Makeover

Hotel is undergoing renovation at this time. I will look forward to seeing it completed. I have stayed here a few times and it was time for a makeover.

I was disappointed with my room after seeing the lobby which looked very nice. Room size was small and in need of some light and new furnishings. The bed was fine and the linens looked clean but in need of replacement. The breakfast was sparse but you are

We got a good deal on the Quikbook website. When we got to our room, it was so small and was facing a brick wall for a view. We were on holiday so we called the front desk and asked if they had better accommodations. They were very helpful and agreed to m

The hotel has a great location-right next to the studio where David Letterman tapes, so it is easy to walk to Broadway plays. The staff was always helpful and polite. The hotel is being slowly renovated to a more modern look so that is good. We paid 154US for 2 double beds so that was a great price for NYC! All in all, happy with the hotel. PS Loved the upscale Mexican restaurant called Toloache on 50th nearby-check it out!

Central convenient hotel in Midtown. Nicely furnished and comfortable rooms. Generous and modern reception range, very friendly and committed personnel.
