The Bedford Hotel was on a quiet street but so convenient to everything - especially Grand Central Station where we caught the subway each day. There were many breakfast options nearby and several nice restaurants for dinner.

The hotel is a great location in midtown Manhattan (only a couple of blocks from Grand Central Station) in a very safe and convenient area. Although the hotel is older and is not amenitized, the rooms are spacious and clean. I would stay here again

Nice sized room; 2 blocks to subway. Although room could use updating, the furniture was more recent. 2 queen sized beds were not too soft and not too hard. Nice selection of restaurants in area. Quiet neighborhood. Studio accomodations included kitchenette with stove, refrigerater, and sink but no microwave. Staff courteous and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

We liked this hotel and would probably stay there again. Rates are good, reasonable. They did not have the standard room available when we arrived so they upgraded us to a suite. That was a nice bonus!

Convenient location, relatively quiet, and good service. Nice to have fridge and stove, though one burner and one outlet were broken.

The staff at the Bedford Hotel must be among the best in the city. They were friendly and always helpful. The location is excellent and accessible to so many attractions. I will stay here again and will recommend the Bedford to all. Of all the search tools online, Quikbook.com provided the best access to information about hotels in New York City. I am recommending the site to everyone who will listen. Thank you.

The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly and the windows in my room could be opened, which was a big plus.

The hotel gave us a room with a king-size bed. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room (and the building) was very clean and neat and in good condition, and the location was excellent. We will definitely stay there again.
