The only negative I have about the hotel is the neighborhood. There are a lot of wholesale places and low end vendors set up on the streets and hanging out everywhere. Seemed a little shady. Hotel was safe with a doorman posted at the door at all times.

Hotel staff was always friendly and helpful. Rooms were reasonable size, quiet, clean with bathroom. Air conditioner worked well which was a relief in 90+ degree weather. Breakfast room was small so we took breakfast back to our room. Food that was offere

Although the hotel is not in the nicest part of town, it is in a very convenient midtown location allowing easy access to uptown or downtown attractions by NYC subway or taxi. Hotel is clean and comfortable and a good value. Not luxurious but adequate.

The Broadway Plaza is very well positioned for staying in New York. Only one block away from the metro and a very good bus service near to Hotel, Our room was lovely and the cleaning staff and the front desk were most friendly, if i were to have any comment it would be about the breakfast, the food supplied although very fresh consisted of all sweet things, most hotels would also have on the table , cereal, toast and fresh fruit, and room to eat it , most people in the hotel took food up to there rooms as there are only 5/6 very small tables and for a 13 story hotel this is just not enough. it would be better if you could not supply a proper continental breakfast with room to eat it then dont supply one at all. There would be a lot less waste!

We were so pleased that the manager allowed our request for a one night stay on a holiday weekend. He was very understanding. Our room on the 2nd floor was huge by NYC standards. A bit noisy and a bit warm, but very clean and spacious. Nice breakfast selection, too!

View from 12th floor was great. Breakfast room was INCREDIBLY tiny and you had to get there at 7am to get a seat. Service was generally good. Room was a good size considering location but were not standard hotel size - at least our room was not. USD300 a night seems very expensive for what you get, but the location is ideal. I have heard of tourists checking in to Brooklyn hotels and taking the subway in to Manhattan - I would check out hotels a bit further out next time.
