The hotel is relatively new (building is not) and has an interesting and funky aesthetic. Staff was helpful and pleasant. The beds were full-size and not queen so my son was a bit uncomfortable given he is a bit over 6 feet tall and his feet were not fully supported. The bathroom was very well appointed but small. That would be ok but there were no towel racks so it became messy quite quickly. The most negative experience was not having any housekeeping despite the fancy electronic indicator that we selected when we left the room. The maid was in the hallway when we arrived late afternoon and we thought she would definitely be in before we arrived later that evening but that did not happen. So, for a Manhattan hotel it was a reasonable value, not great, and there are still a few glitches that they need to smooth out to merit an excellent rating.

Good location, clean, nicely appointed room full of gadgets (which worked), bathroom (shower only) very small but OK. Staff very friendly and helpful. As of Nov 2011 only open 4 months so will be interesting to see how it looks in a couple of years time.

I gave this hotel a chance because of the low rate I got from Quikbook. It was a great location and everything was new. The staff was friendly and helpful getting us directions to the things we wanted to see while we were in town. Cabs were a bit hard to
Lobby Fish Tank is a standout

The very tall fish tank is a beautiful addition to the lobby. The room was very comfortable and the location was great. We walked over to Eataly which was a bit of a tourist trap but I had read about it and it was right at our doorstep as was Madison Squ

I stayed at the hotel the first week it opened. Quikbook had an amazing promotion and the price was worth giving it a try .I needed to be downtown but the N/R train was close by as was Broadway so transportation was not an issue. I was very pleasantly sur
