The Franklin Hotel is located on the Upper East Side of New York, a short walk from Museum Mile, Central Park, Madison Avenue shopping and several fine dining venues. This romantic boutique hotel features a bright living room, library nook and French bistro style breakfast lounge. Guestrooms boast European-style antique beds wrapped in 100% Egyptian cotton linens, down comforters and pillows, luxurious bathrobes, Bvlgari bath amenities, flat screen TVs, complimentary wireless Internet access, an iHome radio, a work-desk area, 24-hour coffee/espresso service, complimentary overnight shoe shine and newspaper delivery. Mornings begin with a complimentary European breakfast buffet each morning. In the evenings, guests unwind and gather for wine & cheese also compliments of the Franklin. Additional services provided include concierge service and access to a local New York Sports Club gym.

pleasant and helpful staff and excellent comp breakfast, but bathroom sink was in an alcove so narrow that it made the sink just about useless.

I loved the personal atmosphere- helpful staff, and amenities such as wine and cheese, and a great breakfast.

Our room was teeny-tiny....even by NYC standards. The only closet was about 8 inches deep and 24 inches wide. The sink was not in the bathroom, but behind a door in the bedroom. On the plus side, the continental breakfast was lovely.
