Georgian Terrace Hotel, a landmark of southern style and hospitality, was built in 1911 and subsequently dubbed "The Grande Dame" of Atlanta's famous Peachtree Street. Georgian Terrace Hotel has a rich history and is both listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is known worldwide for hosting the world premiere reception for "Gone with the Wind" in 1939. Centrally located, this hotel is within short driving distance of attractions such as the Fox Theatre, Centennial Olympic Park, High Museum of Art, the CNN Studio tour, Martin Luther King Historic site and the Atlanta Zoo. The Georgian Terrace Hotel is proudly celebrating 100 years as part of Atlanta’s cityscape. In an effort to continue offering our guests a true taste of Southern hospitality, we will begin renovations on our guest rooms on August 1, 2011. Work on the rooms will be conducted daily from 08:30AM to 6:00 PM and will produce minimal impact on our guests. We ask that you pardon our dust and support us in our efforts to make the Georgian Terrace Hotel even better!
