Hampton Inn Manhattan SoHo

We have stayed often at the Hampton Inn-SoHo since it opened because it is close to our son's apartment. It is in an obscure location between SoHo and Tribeca near the Holland Tunnel entrance but we have never felt unsafe walking and it is convenient to SoHo, Tribeca, and Greenwich Village attractions. Chinatown and Little Italy are within easy walking distance.

Great location, small but comfortable room and the bathroom was very clean

I love quikbook and I love this hotel. Its location can`t be beat and the rooms are lovely. They also have the full breakfast that Hampton offers. The staff is very nice (they recognized me from my last visit) and goes out of their way to help. I was given a quieter room this time (maybe because of hilton honors?) which was great! The only disadvantage is their hours - check out is at 11am, and check in is at 4pm. I`ve had to wait until 6pm to check in at times. However, I just leave my bags and head out into the neighborhood. I also love its proximity to Tribeca. Try Bubby`s for breakfast!

We arrived and the room we booked was not available. we needed 2 beds as we were 3 people and all they had was a King. However, the staff organized a rollout bed and sert it up while we were out. Additionally they gave us a discount for the inconvenience. The staff were very helpful and courteous and the room was very nice, clean, adn comfortable. The breakfast was good if you needed to stock up for a chilly morning and the breakfast space was spacious, fresh, and light. It was a good value hotel I would return to.

We had a very pleaseant stay at this hotel in August. I had had some email correspondence with the hotel and they were very accomodating. The room on the 18th floor had good city views and was a decent size for my wife and I who stayed 6 nights. The breakfast was a typical self service buffet but we were able to eat healthily from the options and I felt the staff there were always in control of what was going on. The reception staff were always helpful and our room was always kept clean. Complimentary wifi (a must surely these days?) and a free printer in reception - also essential for online check in etc. Location was excellent - you felt you were off the tourist trail but only a stroll away from SoHo and one stop away from Greenwich on the subway - with two stations less than 4 minutes walk away - pubs, bars and restaurants also within easy walking distance. If ever back in New York absolutely no hesitation in going back.

Excellent location, comfortable beds, clean room, helpful staff - and breakfast thrown in! I`d definitely stay there again. Very good value for the money.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spacious for a double in NYC, particularly for the price. There was high quality brewed coffee available at all times, plus a free breakfast that was miles beyond any of the free continental breakfasts you get at other hotels. Free internet connection in your room and free wifi in the break fast room.

Hotel was clean and quiet. Room was small but comfortable. Staff was pleasant. Hotel is on Watts which is the road that goes to the Holland tunnel.....A mess if you are arriving during the afternoon rush hour!! But easy access to the tunnel in the morning.

Hotel is located at a convenient position. Hotel staff is flexible and easy going. Very accommodative. Very nice hotel!
