Great location and chic boutique hotel. Bed was very comfortable. Staff were very helpful - loved the list of local restaurants that they provided. I would return.

Great hotel for anyone using the cheap intercity buses that leave and depart from the Penn Station area, just down the street. Quick check in. Friendly staff. Small but functional rooms, however, tastefully appointed bathrooms are a plus. No coffee makers in rooms. Window view of airshaft in an only-in-New York experience.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise overall. Rooms were nicely furnished, very clean and of reasonable size for NYC. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. My gripes with the hotel are the lack of coffee makers in the room (but there is free coffee in the lobby 24 hours), no ice machine available to guests (must call front desk for ice), and the electronically monitored honor bar in the room is tacky and unnecessary. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this fine hotel in this central location near lots of tourist sites, businesses and restaurants.

Lovely staff. We use few amenities but there is a coffee bar available gratis. The doormen are great at getting cabs on the avenue. The rooms are decent size although not large. The towels are Frette and very substantial.

We were given an early check-in and an upgrade to a king room. Room was very clean, well-equipped, reasonable size for New York hotels, the bed was comfortable and the room was very well-heated. Hotel was very quiet, good central location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room rate included extras like coffee/tea and complimentary glass of wine during happy hour each day. Unbeatable value!
