The well-appointed guest rooms are outfitted with plush mattresses draped in Egyptian cotton linens and fine duvets, Turkish cotton terry bath linens, H2O personal care products, complimentary Wi-Fi and high-speed Internet access, a work desk area, flat-screen LCD TVs, CD/Alarm clocks with MP3 connection, mini-bars, and express check-out. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant, Saju, offering eclectic French cuisine and full service bar. Hotel Mela features the "Your Desires Guest Program", an exclusive program offering a unique lifestyle experience tailored to your preferences. Arrangements must be made with the hotel directly after a reservation has been made.

Our experience was very good. The room was small but spotless and attractive. The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. There was some noise from adjoining rooms.

Cute boutique hotel - in a very convenient location. Our room was nice, very quiet with everything we needed. ALL NYC hotel rooms are small, so to me these were just fine in terms of the size. Now the elevators ARE small, but you get used to them. You are only on them a short time anyway! Would def stay here again!

Hotel stay Feb 2009, room 1215, superior room withdouble bed. Pros- Clean, modern room, very comfortable bed, spotless bathroom, and free wireless internet. Convenient location between Grand Central and Times Square. Room on backside of building was very quiet at night. Cons-construction is taking place next door, noise from 7AM - 6PM. Room was very small, fine for one person but would be tight for two. No desk or sitting area to use laptop. No closet or storage to speak of. Would defiitely stay here again for short trips to NYC. Would definitely book a larger room if traveling with my sweetie.

We stayed for seven days, exhibiting at a trade show. Rooms are large and comfortable by New York standards, beds very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We got a very good price through Quikbooks.

The location is great. The room was clean, although it is very small. I got a great rate at this hotel, and would not pay any more than I did, simply because the room was so small. Overall, I was pleased with the hotel.
