The Hotel Metro is located in the Fashion Center area of New York and is a five-minute walk from Pennsylvania Station. Self-described as a "corporate boutique" hotel, the Metro offers direct-dial phones with voice mail & dataport and a refrigerator in all rooms. Continental breakfast is complimentary, and the Metro Grill serves Tuscan cuisine at lunch and dinner daily. The Hotel Metro also has a rooftop garden terrace that provides great views of the Empire State Building. Hotel Metro’s rooftop terrace is now open seasonally, weather permitting, for guest use during most daytime hours and during the evenings. To reserve a table at the rooftop bar, guests can reserve through the hotel restaurant.

There is a $25 charge for children age 12 or older sharing with parents in the room with 2 double beds.

It was a very pleasant surprise. The rooms are very comfortable, good size and bathrooms seem to be brand new. Having complimentary breakfast (quite good) and Wi-Fi makes the price quite inviting. The location is exceptional! Couldn’t be more central –right between 5th and 6th Avenues. Don’t miss going up to the bar at the penthouse and have the Empire State building towering right above you.

Very nice hotel--room was ready at noon and I even got upgraded--Lovely room and quiet--Comp. Continental breakfast was fine and though the bar on the roof was not open on the weekends, you can purchase a drink from the bar on lobby floor and carry it up to the terrace. Nice.
