Located 3 blocks south from The Empire State building, the Hotel Wolcott is two blocks from both Madison Square Garden and Penn Station, and only a half of a mile from the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York. Well appointed guestrooms feature dual-line phones with voicemail and dataport, a work desk, a television with pay-per-view movies, Web T.V. Internet access, an in-room safe, a hair dryer, WIFI, and iron/ironing board. The hotel offers a business center, a fitness center, laundry services and valet services. The Hotel Wolcott is also within walking distance of a number of fine or causal dining restaurants. Complimentary coffee and muffins are served every morning. Room service is also available.

Hotel is basically on 5th Ave and only two blocks from the Empire State Building. It is a great location from which to explore Manhanttan. Staff were helpful and the room was a good size and clean.

I love this hotel. It is small, old, friendly-charming I think is the right word for it. The staff is helpful and accommodating. The amenities are as advertised. Price is great, as is location. It is clean, and just a great place to stay. I wish I could have stayed longer and will stay there again when I go back to NY. This was my second visit.

Room was spacious and clean. They have large lockers to store suitcases if you need to stay beyond the noon check out. Great location near Penn Station and subway.

It was wonderful. Centrally located. I always stay here and keep a list of the favorite rooms that I am comfortable. The people at the front desk always are very helpful in finding me a wonderful room. Very reasonable prices also.

Friendly and clean hotel. Very nice looking lobby where coffe and muffins are served in the morning.

The hotel is in a good location, although there did not appear to be many restaurants near. As the hotel does not have a bar or restaurant this was a disappointment. It might have been that we just did not know where best to look! The hotel is self is old but clean and retains many original features. The rooms are of a good size. However, as it was August and hot the air conditioning, in the rooms, are old and work like a fan rather than proper air conditioning. I.E. just blow the air in the room around. The hotel does need to invest in a new system. On the plus side Coffee and muffins are available, free, each morning. Also, if you have flights to check in, get boardiong cards, the hotel provides this facility free of charge in their business centre. Overall I would rate this hotel as Ideal for the price and locations
