Jumeirah Essex House

The Jumeirah Essex House on Central Park recently completed a guestroom refurbishment and is now part of Jumeirah, the dynamic and fast growing Dubai-based luxury hotel group. The refurbishment program included renovations to all of the hotel’s guestrooms and suites, hotel lobby, health club, spa, salon and the on-site restaurant and bars. The guestroom revamp conserved and maintained the hotel’s historic elements and art deco heritage, while enhancing the facilities and services by offering the latest innovations in technology and entertainment. They were designed and developed with the goal of providing guests with control of all room features through innovative LCD controls or regular switches. Rooms and suites have plug and play facilities allowing guests to use their own entertainment devices, as well as wireless Internet, high definition TV, on-demand movies, and interactive TV systems. For guests’ convenience, rooms come with touch screen control pads to select their preferred lighting, mood and temperature settings, including motion sensors. This latest device is the hotel’s way of significantly reducing energy consumption to help the environment. There are 2 on-site restaurants - The Lobby Lounge serving light fare for breakfast, all day dining, drinks and traditional afternoon tea. The Restaurant at the Jumeirah Essex House serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
