Please Note:
The Lombardy Hotel does not allow children under age 10 to stay at the hotel due to NYC’s “Window Guard” law. The Lombardy Hotel does however welcome children over age 10.

I stay here often. The quiet, understated lobby and lack of a lobby bar make it the perfect, quiet and elegant old-world New York hotel for my business travel.

This is a older, very clean, extremely well located smaller hotel. Old fashioned personal service. Just a few steps to Park Avenue. For reasons unknown but enjoyed, they upgraded me to a suite, which had been recently renovated - living dining area, fireplace, separate bedroom, very elegant. I assume the regular rooms are equally nice, but cannot say for sure. The free continental breakfast was minimalist, just coffee, juice, and breads, but adequate. I would definitely look to stay here again - hopefully at the same Quickbook price, which I think was a real bargain.

Hope that I can make the appropriate statement that I have in mind. The Lombardy Hotel was a pleasant surprise and I totally enjoyed it. The hotel personnel was most courteous and helpful -- although I did not have to make too many inquiries, really. I greatly regretted the fact that I saw myself in the need to cancel the reservation for The Jolly Madison Towers for health reasons. Consequently, cut my vacation short. This hotel left a very memorable imprint when I stayed last May. Service was excellent, and the complimentary breakfast was outstanding and it made my day! Please accept my congratulations for having it among your list of favorites....if you do not I suggest you do.

Nicest Hotel

We arrived and were upgraded to a suite for our two-night stay. My husband and I think this was the nicest hotel we have ever stayed at. The suite was very large, clean and beautiful. It was just a great way to stay in the city.
