Mondrian Soho

The Mondrian New York is a sleek and stylish hotel located in New York’s trendy downtown arts and fashion district, Soho. Chinatown, Little Italy, the Lower East Side and Greenwich Village are all close to the hotel. Designed by Benjamin Noriega Ortiz, this 270-room hotel features a lush enchanted garden and a lobby courtyard that invites socializing. Guests also enjoy on-site valet parking, a fitness center and in-room spa services. The Mondrian’s decor is inspired by the famous Jean Cocteau film, “La Belle et la bete” and it’s been created to seduce and inspire its guests. With antique mirrors and crystal sconces, even the corridors leading to the rooms are unique. Jewel-box rooms have rich marble floors and a bright, loft-like feel. Floor-to-ceiling windows, chrome desks, marble spa bathrooms, plasma HDTV, iPod docking stations and down bedding add to the indulgent pleasures. The hotel’s indoor-outdoor bar serves handcrafted cocktails while its on-site restaurant features east coast seafood by famed chef Sam Talbot. Room service is also available.
Pets are allowed but the animal must weigh 20 pounds or less, a contract/waiver must be signed upon arrival and a $100 non refundable deposit is required. No pets are allowed in public areas such as restaurants or bars.
