Have stayed here twice. Chose a larger room this time bcs the last time the room was SO tiny. The king size bed and space were much better. Front desk service is good, the room was clean, and the breakfast included was very good. I had asked for a quieter room (not facing the street) but we could hear people in the hall and unfortunately we faced the street and it was noisy. Also I like a dark room and the blinds/curtains did not block out the light in the morning.

This hotel is in a quirky, not entirely tourist-friendly area. There were terrific Indian restaurants around the corner, but not too many other choices. Speaking of food, the free breakfast offerings were poor. Room was adequate but the AC needed constant adjustment. Good shower. Everything appeared clean but the bathroom had an unpleasant odor. Friendly, helpful staff.

This is a small but elegant little hotel. While guest rooms are quite small (and mine had no closet or full-length mirror), it is comfortable. Good bed, shower, amenities, TV, free internet access in Business Center, and very quiet. As with most NY hotels, lighting too subdued, especially by the bed. Excellent restaurant (Black Duck), friendly staff. I would stay here again and will recommend it.

Our room was very tiny - wish I had paid the extra $20/night for the room w/ 2 queens. But it was clean, and the value could not be beat - it included a very large breakfast each morning in the adjoining restaurant. Service and staff were professional and friendly; check in and out was a breeze; there was a small exercise room w/ cardio equipment and free weights and 3 computers in the business center - also free wifi in the rooms. Would stay here again.
