Quikbook.com RSS Feeds: More About RSS
What is RSS?
Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is an XML-based format for content distribution.
It's a great way to bypass the pitfalls and annoyances of email and
the Internet. Quikbook.com offers separate RSS feeds for our most popular cities with our latest hotel
promotions and special rates along with links back to our
site for fast booking. Lengthy and detailed explanations of RSS can be found
here, and here.
How can I get started using this feature?
You'll need to acquire an RSS reader (or news reader). There are basically
two types available; ones that work within your web browser and ones that are
separate applications you'll need to download and install to your individual
computer. Different RSS readers work on different operating systems. Some of
the most popular readers are listed below. And you can always search for "RSS
reader" using your favorite search engine.
Select your operating system below and choose one of the links to download an RSS reader. After installing the news reader, you can add each feed manually by clicking on the "RSS" orange button next to the feed.
