I would gladly return to the Hotel San Carlos. Good location, a staff that is unusually helpful, everything in this hotel is neat, well kept, impeccable. Besides they give free wifi, a complimentary basic breakfast that comes handy,in rooms there is a little fridge, a micro, and cutlery and dishes. This is quiet pleasant if you buy a sandwich or ice-cream as we did. There is also a coffee machine, and iron board and iron. Again this is internationally a four stars hotel with very nice staff.

Excellent location, stylish lobby and rooms, large suite, great staff. Pricey, but it delivers on comfort and individuality.

Lovely hotel in a very good mid town location. We had a spacious room and the amenities were what should be expected at that price range

The hotel was fine. The service was very good, the rooms were very large by NY standards with a refrigerator and microwave, coffee maker in the room. The only dissatisfaction came with the breakfast. I know it is just continental, but it would be nice to have a little larger selection. They did have yogurt, but on Sunday there was none that was fat free available. They had bread, croissants etc. and apples. I would have really appreciated either some cereal or some cottage cheese/cheeses/meats. Other than that, we were completely satisfied with the hotel and would go back there.

Friendly staff, rooms were clean, spacious, updated. Everything you could ask for. Location is ideal and within walking distance of the theater, shopping and many attractions. Loved our stay.

The San Carlos is conveniently located and the rooms have been updated recently with comfortable beds and plasma TV. The rooms are large and well appointed and the baths the same with plush towels. The service is friendly and helpful. The free wireless is a seldom seen benefit in 4 star hotels. The only drawback is that they are still refurbishing some floors and the noise of construction is a bother.
