Got unexpected upgrade on arrival, which was a nice surprise. Good cleaning service of hotel room. Kiehl products provided was an incentive upon booking. Concierge .... Ella was a massive help with local information. All staff very obliging with all requests.

I`ve stayed at this hotel probably 10 times and Quikbook DEFINITELY gets the best rate. Hotel is small and personal, yet has everything you could want in a larger hotel. Rooms are big and spacious and beds are so comfortable. It`s my home in New York.

we forgot to pack toothpaste and they delivered 2 kits with toothbrushes and toothpaste to our room at no charge.

Excellent modern design accompanied with first class service. Smyth hotels staff was extremely friendly, from opening the door to providing directions to places in the city they went above and beyond. The location of the hotel was perfect, with a subway entrance literally at your front door. The traffic and noise around the Tribeca area was fairly quiet. If your looking for a getaway in NYC away from the uptown hustle and bustle the Smyth Tribeca is the place you should definitely consider.

Great hotel, great location, staff very friendly and helpful. New restaurant is a wonderful addition -- had brunch there and was reasonably priced for the quality. The only down side of the hotel for me is the design of the room -- the bathroom wall is opaque glass but any light in the bathroom lights up the whole room (making sleep difficult if one person wants to get up early and the other does not. Also, the sliding door on the bathroom does not close off the bathroom so that more things are shared than one would want. Aesthetics yes, function no.

Lovely stay. Concierges and desk personnel very helpful. Room extremely comfortable (would have liked luggage rack for small suitcase). Restaurant just opened altho still waiting for liquor license. All in all, a great stay and a great location.
