Beachfront, near shops, a celebrity magnet, this oceanfront Miami Beach hotel raises 18 stories along historic Collins Avenue. The pedestrian-only Lincoln Road Mall, with stylish shops, cafes, and clubs, is less than a mile away.
Two infinity-edge pools – one on the rooftop – command spectacular ocean views. Other highlights include the David Barton Gym + Spa, STK restaurant, Pool Plaza restaurant, various boutiques and the East Coast’s longest seamless shark tank spans the hotel lobby.
Overlooking the city or ocean, spacious guestrooms known as the largest in the city, feature 40-inch LCD HDTVs, complimentary wireless Internet access, and 400-thread-count Egyptian cotton linens. Bathrooms have separate showers and tubs.
PLEASE NOTE: the Perry South Beach Hotel will undergo improvements to the exterior facade over the next
several months.
The property improvements, commencing on May 29th, 2012, will be restricted to the exterior facade
(guest room balcony) and parking garage only. During this time, we will do our best to minimize
disruption of our guests stay at the property. No work will be carried out in an occupied guestroom.
The hotel will continue to be fully operational including the food & beverage restaurants and other
property outlets. The following venues will remain open:

*The Café

*Big Drop and Curve
At any given time, only a portion of the exterior facade will be worked on and the timings are:

Loved the rooftop

The Gansevoort has everything you need in one building, which can be slightly overwhelming. However, we had a wonderful breakfast on our balcony and enjoyed laying out on the rooftop. The hotel itself is very well maintained and welcoming.

The Gansevoort is definitely a hotel for the younger set but the rooms are luxurious and the service is very personable. If you can deal with all of the people on the rooftop and other public places, it's a definite must-stay.

Perfect location is a quick cab ride from South Beach. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and the pools are very nice.

This was the best vacation I have ever had! We got upgraded at checkin to an amazing suite! The rooftop rocked and access to the beach is so easy. The bartenders at STK were so nice. Everything was fabulous!

Very modern, not at all art deco, but very pretty. Rooms are large and ours had a microwave and coffee pot--very convenient. We didn't have a bathtub but the balcony with ocean views made up for it.
