Great location for subways, East Village shopping and dining. The room was adequate but fell short on wardrobe space for two people. The comfy bed and amazing views from the 18th floor made up for the lack of special touches in the room. There was also Free continental breakfast during our stay.

Incredible architecture greets you. Very fashion-forward decor. Wine, iced tea and water are nice touches in the lobby, which is really more of a living room than a hotel lobby. No "front desk" but rather an office into which you`re welcomed to sit sit down and discuss anything you may need. Seamless staff assistance from bellman to manager. All seem empowered to address a wide range of guest needs from locating a good pizza place to getting a cab to arranging theater tickets. Room was on the small side as is typical in the city but the style and amenities are nice. Could use more closet or hanging space for clothing and more lighting options in the bathroom. And the bed? OMG!!! Wake me next week! It was the most comfortable hotel bed I`ve ever been on. Great views too. Bar on second floor is a must. Even the first floor bar was great. I`d definitely return. Prefer a little less gritty neighborhood but new development is evident everywhere. Impressive for the cost.

Trendy, upscale, refined hotel with a real bent toward quality and service, from the cheerful greeting at the front door to the outstanding complimentary buffet breakfast (nova! cheese! fresh berries of top quality! great coffee!), complete with gracious waiters. Unique and nice feature is the availability of first-press books for sale to benefit charity.

Staff was gracious and responsive, hotel clean and comfortable. Exceptionally wonderful beds. Beautiful view from large window. Bathroom lighting could be a little brighter, and minimal drawers for clothing are only things that could improve. Room was small, but we knew that when we made the reservation, so not a problem Especially liked the wonderful breakfast as well.

Very kind and helpful staff. Moreover, we had to cut short our stay with one day due to unforeseen circumstances, but this was no problem whatsoever.

The hotel staff are welcoming, friendly, helpful and attentive. Outside noise is minimal inside the hotel. The atmosphere in the hotel is relaxed. We enjoyed the 12th floor view looking uptown.

Great hotel and location. I did not like the lack of the front desk. The check in was confused. Some of the staff was not prepared. In the final, i would return to the hotel for sure.
