Situated in the heart of Chinatown, the Windsor Hotel is located just a steps away from Little Italy, and is convenient to Tribeca, SoHo, and the lower East Side of New York. Great location! Very close to the subway station, and within walking distance to little Italy and Soho. The room is small but bright and clean, bedding is fresh. No pest of any sort! A couple of minor annoyances: the poor signal strength of the wireless internet, and the air conditioner which was very noisy. Also, the air blowing out seems to be at one temperature only- freezing. There is a night club across the street. The noise from the patrons that gathered outside can be a problem to some but it didn`t bother us. The hotel is located in China town. There was a police incident across the street one night, but it was quickly contained. We felt safe walking around the area even at night. Most staff at the front desk were very courteous and accommadating. For $130 a night it was a bargain.

Good basic hotel for the price. No luxuries, but had everything we needed and a great location. Room was clean, quiet and looked recently decorated so no complaints there.

This was the best value for a stay in the city ! The Room was clean and neat and the location was perfect !! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to NYC on a budget !!!
